A passport photo grid maker that opens on a 4 × 6 in sheet at 300 DPI and repeats the photo you open at an exact size — 35 × 45 mm by default — with 3 mm gaps and thin cut guides. It lays out copies; it does not make or edit the photo.
A worked example: 35 × 45 mm on 4 × 6 in

Printing it right
- Actual size. Print at 100%, not fit to page; the file carries 300 DPI and the PDF is the paper size.
- Cut guides. Thin grey lines between copies, printed on purpose; turn them off if your lab cuts by itself.
- The photo is yours. Background, lighting and face position are as you took them.
When another mode is better
Many different photos on numbered pages: contact sheet maker. A poster: photo collage print.
Your photo never leaves this device.
This mode does not make a passport photo: no background change, no face alignment, no check against any authority’s rules. No preset implies endorsement by any authority.
Asked and answered
How many 35 × 45 mm copies fit on 4 × 6 in?
Six — two across and three down — with 3 mm gaps and a 4 mm paper edge. On A4 the same settings fit 30 (5 × 6).
Does this change my photo?
No. Every copy is the same crop of the same photo. There is no background change and no face edit; the photo must already meet the rules of the authority you are applying to.
Where does 35 × 45 mm come from?
Indian missions publish a digital specification of 630 × 810 pixels (Embassy of India, Bern, ICAO-compliant photograph guidelines); 35 × 45 mm is the same 7:9 shape as a print. Confirm with the counter you submit to.
Will it print at the right size?
Print at 100% or actual size, not fit to page. The file carries 300 DPI, and a PDF is set to the paper size, so 35 mm comes out as 35 mm.
Can I put an ID card front and back on one page?
Yes. Choose ID card front and back: the first two photos in the tray are laid at 85.60 × 53.98 mm, front above back, centred on A4, with cut outlines.
